All of us must have felt stress, anxiety, depression, or anger. At times we must have been controlled by them. We must have acted impulsively. We must have done something or said something things, only to regret it later. If we get disconnected from our feelings and become emotionally numb. These are signs that need to work on building our emotion.

By keeping emotions in check, we’ll have to improve our communication with others and bring our life into balance.

Being able to manage and relieve stress. It is the key to stay balanced and focused to face the challenges of life.

There are many techniques for dealing with stress like talking face-to-face with a friend, exercise, yoga, and meditation are the few.

Quick Stress Relief Technique

The best way to reduce stress quickly is by taking a deep breath and using our senses. Like what we see, hear, smell, taste, and touch or by viewing a favourite photo, smelling a specific scent, listening to a piece of favourite music or hugging a pet. We can quickly relax.

Use emotional intelligence

Develop an ability to identify, understand, and use our emotions in positive ways to relieve stress and anxiety, communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges, and defuse conflict.

To control our impulsive feelings and behaviors, we must manage our emotions in healthy ways, take initiative, follow through on commitments, and try to adapt to changing circumstances.

While meditating, first focus on your breathing, then on muscle relaxation, and then on your emotional state.
